Thank you. I thought I could get away with it maybe on a Lexus. I wasn’t crazy about the conventional options for LED upgrades in the 80. I saw some of Kelly’s (@kelly saad) work and decided that’s the way to go. I’m very happy happy with it…

I am however a little leary of how close it seems you need to be to the fire for those things to work based on videos (even when it's not windy), but I'd much rather have one than nothing!
After multiple all nighters and a few beers the ole girl is finally ready. With one day to spare! Couldn’t have done it without the help of a few people. Really looking forward to meeting everyone!

I get it. This time around I just need to bleed brakes and pack. This time last year I stood in despair in the shop thinking it was over and the trip was out of reach. I had just bent a connecting rod due to a leaky injector and having the key on and off pressurizing a new fuel system checking for leaks. I came to my senses, made a few calls and traded a case of suds for a dirty box of used pistons and rods, played puzzle pieces to find the matching cap for the best looking assembly in the bunch, threw in one new $5 Oreilly's rod bearing and got after it. I think it's been like 7k miles now.
