PS- while this is often advertised as a "bolt on" that is "easy" to install, beware of the crank pulley bolt. That bastard cost me a place in heaven due to all the cursing I did trying to get it off. Took me 12 hours to get it off after blowtorching, crank starting, broke multiple sockets and wrenches, etc etc etc... my swearing got so bad the neighbor came by to make sure I wasn't planning to go postal...!

Yea another thing to think is if it is missing any of the parts for install, i don't know if you can buy just "this and that" type of parts for it. I actually bought one (hell, that might be it) and realized that so i sold it and fond a new in box one about a week later. I was SOOOOOOOOOOO glad i purchased the entire unit.

beno's got a great point, and I should have been clearer in my post... with the rebuilt SC I bought, I discovered several "gotchas" where I needed additional parts. A couple of the parts had to be manufactured, courtesy of photoman. I wound up spending ~3k overall and came close to full stop on the build at each point of these discoveries. So, there is risk with the used SC... just make sure you have all the necessary parts beforehand...!!!

Take my money!!
QBall you getting your head refreshed? Got to ask Nlxtacy where he got his done.
If this is a for sure go, I'd like to get a head start on the cometic/arp route.

Martin Davidson's Machine Shop in Reseda.

He was my competition when I was working at my uncle's machine shop.

Martin does/did the rebuilds for SOR and MAF including the hi-po 2Fs.

Now I have some time to think it over I think I should leave my good enough alone this time. I mean mine simply purrs right now with the bad HG and amount of work to get it to go just a bit faster is making me feel lazy.

Also contemplating on a 2uz with tranny and axles and body and leather and wood and navi and bunch of other things already put together and working for just about twice the money.......choices.....

I just dropped in the 2.8" pulley wheel and have noticed a positive difference, albeit subtle, going uphill.

I wouldn't expect a smaller pulley doing much of anything power wise given the fact you are running the stock fueling setup.
When are you going to let us in on your latest fueling solution? I believe that it is the Achilles heel of the 1fz-fe computer
