I make not only a pedal bracket but replica pedals as well. Still have to pull the 62 bucket to weld the bracket to it but a lot less expensive then buying and shipping a whole pedal assembly

@cruisermatt is there a thread you know of where this is done? The pulling of bucket?

Thanks Lamb, I’ve read so many threads on this I forget where things are.

Paul, The Eater of Transmissions is home.

My buddy uses this trailer to take his Jeep to Jamborees or whatever. It has rescued Paul twice now. Embarrassing.

Oh the SHAME. ;)
But, really, glad to see there's some movement toward a resolution even at the hands of a Heep™ owner.
Yeah, he just loves to rub it in. Jerk.

Last I talked to Jimmy, Danny hadn’t been by.
Was going to head down there maybe in the next few days.

Mine has been on a trailer a few times. I took it from Wyoming to Pennsylvania Dad was not sure why I wanted to keep it until he saw how people on the road trip reacted to it. While there it got moved around and ended up renting space for it and a trailer we bought and stored in a barn. Then we towed it back to Wyoming and let it set outside until a dispute with the neighbor. Then rearranged the barn and ended up with room for it and my 3500.

Hi, Has this transmission been fixed? Mike
Hello Mike,
No, I just returned home on Tuesday. Truck needs to be placed in a spot where I can yank this trans.

I’m not going to spend any more money on this transmission. It’s heading back to Georg where hopefully a post mortem will eventually be completed.

Selling stuff
Hey y’all.
I can’t express how much this community has been helping me behind the scenes. I’ll figure out how to illustrate it better at a later date. But for now, I wanted to share some stuff I’m selling to aid in my plight.

I’ve got other stuff too, will be adding as I go.
I’ll leave you with this depressing sight…

I got a car cover for my 62 last Christmas so scared to put it on.
This came with the ride. Easier than redoing the gutters… until it’s not.

while that seems depressing the bright side is that you own a killer 62 and when the money is there the parts will come and it’ll be back on the road in better shape than ever and you still are the owner!! i’ve been going through a similar path with mine(engine not tranny) and haven’t driven it in two years. i feel your pain but itll work out!!

I truly do appreciate the words of encouragement.
It was just such a gut punch after just completing the install.

About to go see a dude about some parts.

Have you picked up the bell housing and cover yet?
