Did the guy who approached you look like the brother in my avatar? Then probably not...at least I don't remember that conversation. Cause I would've assumed you owned an LC and just asked you "what series?"
Haha nah, it wasn’t Denzel it was a tall white dude. We did end up talking and we both had 60 Series. He was the principle of a school somewhere in West Denver or Lakewood I think. Anyway, what LCs you got? Maybe I’ll bump into you some time.

60 gang! Pretty sure I saw that one a few years ago driving down Alameda near Monaco or Quebec. That’s not far from your neighborhood. I had my EXTREMELY rusty red 60 at the time. Huge holes in the body. Here’s the current whip:

Ok… sorry so got off topic. More bikes. Who’s got an old TA Specialties 50.4bcd crankset I can buy?

Definitely seen yours cause I was digging the stripes. And that was me for sure at Monaco & Alameda!

Can’t help you with the crankset tho…

Been banging this thing around on Swamp Rabbit Trail. Trying to get back on it before an October NC camp/mtb ride. It is actually a sweet ride best feeling brakes I’ve ever had… never bled and hung on the wall for long periods. Thinking about upgrading contact points. Esi chunky grips/specialized power saddle? Just like the GX thinking she could fit some meats. Maybe even add some weird bar ends or something, adding a mirror for when I’m getting passed… too proud 😝

My around towner, nothing fancy. Marin Nicasio+, Crank Brothers Stamp 7 pedals, Brooks cambium C15 carved saddle, Brooks Bar Pouch, newer Maxxis Ramblers.

Alternate ride is a Globe Roll-1 Fixie being watched over by my youger brother.

(4Runner just got a clay bar/ceramic wax treatment to remove some pinstripes.)

Own 2 bikes
First one when I retired is a Trek Alant +7 ebike
Sorry, no pic.
Picked up a sweet road bike last December and much prefer it to the ebike . Trek Domane 5.

Very nice looking bike, is that a 70 Chevelle or El camino in the back? 😍

so a follow up to my posts around #1512 i had been wondering about ohlins suspension. i’m not a you tube worthy biker but do like to play. i’m 210 lbs and 6’2” so not a small guy. i just wanted to give an update that i absolutely love this bike! i thought my first spectral was excellent but this one blew me away with its low speed smoothness but also it’s willingness to take hard bumps and jumps. i’m fully sold on this suspension vs the lyric the first bike had. it climbs very well (for my skill level anyway). i can out climb my fellow riders regularly. i can’t get my butt on this bike often enough. i’ve never had a bike that fit me so perfectly before!! i love it
