It is so nice living down the street from PUSH. I haven't washed the bike since last summer and it appears the forks are leaking a bit. Even though out of warranty Darren the owner took it in to replace some seals and came out when I picked the...
Picked up this early 90’s Trek Multitrack.
It looked like it was going to the trash.
Saved it and now it looks like this.
Great bike for riding around town.
This weekend I finally got the gumption to straighten the seat stays on that old Trek and it worked great. Tires off, left pedal off, frame laid on floor with wood blocks supporting key points, and a piece of 126mm PVC pipe between the rear...
fat biking is sooooo fun!!!! this is what i ride all winter
it takes a little practice with tire pressure if you go off hard pack. for instance when i ride on frozen snowmobile trails i air down to 6-7 psi. seems crazy low but it prevents you...
Mostly snow and ice (this winter seems like all ice), single track and backcountry. Probably some bike-packing in the tundra at some point.
Most years My primary MTB (below) can only be used 4-5 months a year.
And another quick ride at devils. Love these early rise with the sun rides but may have been sleeping thru half of it from the looks of the time o_O
Shooting for 3 rides a day minimum, same boring pics, may have to start posting weekly...
Still walking…. 😂😂.
This hiking trip is a recon trip for the first MTB race that I’ll be participating in September. The 65 miles of this hike will be a portion of that race.
San Francisco Peaks as seen from Babbitt Ranch north of Flag...
25.6mi today on the Neuse River Trail on the east side of Raleigh. Rode the paved trail down to a connector to the Williamston Preserve, then rode some of the "flowy" MTB trails in the Preserve. Fun stuff, beat up a little, perfect day!
The...
Shakedown ride yesterday after some tweaks and installed a slightly smaller front chainring. Fun bike! Went on a quick 17 mile today. Felt great. Weekends have been super busy with other demands but I need to start squeezing in longer rides.
You may be surprised, I'm thinking it is about average from what I have seen and certainly asking up around the resorts earlier this year. Still quite a bit up higher.
Wow, been a while since I have posted on this. Many monthly meetings later and quite a bit of progress made by the DUST guys, I finally got this email.

Another 4 miles, easing into the back pain. Just went to the post office and back. If you look, the here’s little bits of old Denver still left. No stunning mountain vistas here and kind of a gray day, so not really the best for exciting photos...
Well, didn’t ride bikes…
Cached water for 5 days on the Arizona Trail. Considering the terrain, it took us a whole day to cache. Had to get a hike in at the South Rim….
And then you see this and the insanity of the world comes...
New wheel set day today for my gravel steed.
700s. Moving up from 650.
These will live on this bike until my Falconer is completed and then they will get transferred to that unit. My gravel steed will then go back to 650s and will become a SS...
Quick early rise with the sun ride. Starting to really love the early am rides, just wish I had more time to hit the next loop before work and get the miles up.
