You are going to scratch the roof. When do we get to see it with the new tires!

I ignored the last 20 posts or so but it sounds like you are going to be hanging onto those 37's for road tires. It seems like it is worth it even if you only drive it 1K-1500 miles a year, you really only go wheeling once or twice a year right. Unless you are looking to change that (count me in with that)
Let me know when that happens. I’ll come help2024 was a bit of a dry spell as far as wheeling goes, an anomaly, hopefully. Current thinking is to have 37s as winter tires, 42s as spring/summer/fall tires. If I do that, I'll be able to regear the axles to 4.88s, which will be neat.
What gears are you running now? I guess with the doublers wheeling is fine but I imagine on road is not the best with 3:73/4:10's and 42's.2024 was a bit of a dry spell as far as wheeling goes, an anomaly, hopefully. Look into "thick" gears. That way you can use same locker. 14b should not matter, or do you run something else?3.73s. 42s on the road sucks with that ratio for sure. Works well with doublers offroad, and with 35s/37s on road in high range, but I'd love to move to 4.88s. $$ especially considering I'd have to replace both lockers to do that though.

Saw sig line on 60/14
I have 5:13 gears with 40” tires and an NV4500. My engine is around 2750-2900 rpms at 75 mph. I envisioned installing 4:88 gears initially but changed directions when I found used axles that were already built.
What engine are you using?Man, my engine would explode if it ran that high on the highway for any amount of time, lol. My engine is happy at 1800-1900rpm on the highway. @boots4 can probably attest to that in his truck as well.
4bt, going on 11 years now. What engine are you using?
