Yup, typically with drums axles cause drums meant older, however your truck year would indicate it should have discs so the question is what year front axle is it ? I suppose some markets had drums on later housings with the larger steering studs...

You may have to remove a little material from the inside of the tongue of the ball upper & lower to get the disc birfs in.

Welcome to MUD, post up that list once you have identified whats needed. There are frames for cheap out here but they are on the wrong coast. Mud is a great resource for parts & doo-dads that are not readily available on the retail market.
