Looking for parts for my 62 Soft top frame off Restoration

Did it have a four speed before? While the clearance from the tube is find I dropped the back of mine for clearance around the transmission cover towards the back. While you can remove the bolts between the transmission and transfer case then let the transfer case swing to give you plenty of clearance for the hand back. There is not enough room to slide either the transfer case off the transmission tailshaft or pull the transmission/transfer case out of the pressure plate. To change my clutch without pulling the motor/transmission/transfer case I have to remove the rear motor mounts off the bell housing and drop the back of the engine down to get clearance. If I have the tub off my 68 I would solve the problem before installing the tub. Might do a little search in the 40/55 section on these to see what people have done.

The shop that installed the 4spd in my '63 just torched the entire cross-tube out. I ended up welding one back in, when I put the 'new' 3spd back in it.

I guess I've never seen Warns of that vintage. All the Warn Hubs I've got are of the tapered variety.

it was tight but I was able to stuff a 4 speed with a PTO box in my '62 with just swapping the tranny hump. would have been a MUCH easier install with the tub off and mounted to the engine;)

I guess the point I'm trying to make is while it will fit while the tub is off would be the time to makes some changes so if you need to change the clutch or do any other work on the transmission/transfer it would be simpler. Curious which tranny hump you used? Did you modify the floor at he back of the transmission hump?

just installed the rebuilt rocker assembly
I did't modify the floor, but the tranny hump will require a small bit of work, I'll get a picture of it tonight.

I need a good working exhaust manifold with no cracks or broken ears if anyone has one would be much help to keep me going.

this is what's left of the head lights.............................................. I might have a set of the later style Koito head lights with the "Koito" in a rectangle instead of the circle? let me know and I could dig into some boxes.
