Pretty sure we have the mechanical path chosen for the "SOW". Waiting on quote for H55/Split case. Front axle for disc conversion in the works. Alcan springs gonna be ordered Tuesday.

I have convinced the wife we need to get front buckets and we will match front and back. I would like to do some sound proofing, carpet and nice seat upholstery. The wife wants to do houndstooth with color pattern similar to the exterior. Anyone have any unique things they have done to the interior to accommodate traveling with dogs?

I would love to see some interiors of other pigs, so share em if ya got em!

Slickest interior I’ve seen is the transfer of front and rear seats and front console from a Ford King Ranch pickup. Just done but not recalling by whom just now.

Here’s one I’m currently infatuated with.
Dreaming of a contrasting material and stitch color with flowing and reoccurring seam lines in the dash, seats, door and cargo panels, and headliner(s). Kick panel, and pillar covers optional but possible.

Only thing I wonder about is if the rear seats fold flat for cargo.

Yeah, I am committed for rear bench seat to allow the dogs the most space we can. I had a couple trucks with that same Ling Ranch interior in the past and still love em!

Probably not. To get to fit in that small sandwich space you will sacrifice comfort imo. That is why I put some door hinges on the front of my rear seats. They fold in half then swing forward. You lose maybe 8in of cargo length. The other problem I had was I put my rear seat further back to give front and rear more leg room. So my back seats sit up on that rear cargo tray a little.

This is what I did. 2018 Chrysler Pacifica seats. I got all four for $200 from a guy out of AZ that does van conversions. I have only put 1 seat in so far.

I did front seats from a '04 Chevy Trailblazer. Super comfortable. They have integrated belts. My '71 pig came with only lap belts, so the integrated belts solved the seatbelt problem. I fabbed up an ammo can console. between the buckets. Here are a few pics, but there are more in the "Bucky" build thread.
