so Framers showed up this am, house actually moving forward. we moved out 9 months ago, termite damage, dry rot, foundation issues, un even floors, remodeling a 100 year old house is like restoring a pig, 1 step forward, 3 steps back, but wife smiling first time since pig party

Remodeling or rebuilding? Nice looking lumber. We get awful framing lumber in the southeast.

Mudship leaving tomorrow afternoon after work when Kim and I deliver some cruiser parts to Cruiser and Co. for @gonzopancho.

I don’t trust any shipper with the glass, hood and tailgate. We are taking table to daughter in Fort Collins so might as well deliver.

Lots of attention placed on protecting the hood!

Great to finally stop by and visit Don and Deborah! Got to check out a bit of the farm, progress on the house, Pigs and parts, and then treated to a fish taco dinner at ‘The Office’. To top it off, he loaded me up with produce from the garden, and had a place for me to crash for the night before the last push to Grants Pass.
Can’t thank you enough, Don! Greatly appreciate the hospitality! Looking forward to next time ☺️

Rain, rain and more rain!!
2 weeks ago missed chance to travel on one of company jets to see a clinic system. Storms night before flooded both ways to highway from the farm making it impossible for me to leave.

Then while at friends retirement party yesterday couple hours away rains hit again.

Primary road to highway washed out now. Gonna need some serious repairs!

Lady whose retirement party I went to hired me as a fresh EMT at 18, 38 years ago.

Brunas words still ring in my head at the interview.

“Jon, if you f*** me, I’ll f••• you” and she wasn’t talking about in a sensual way!

Whoa, that looks serious Jon!
Pretty cool that you got started as an EMT at 18.

Working moving cars around shop as we try and organize our living space. Used cheaper gojack castors to move the BJ45.

We had to get it out of the elements, needs windshield and some TLC. @Michael B used these in his shop and they worked great although it took the wife and I to move it around. However the BJ45 is a heavy rig! Yes the protective Saran Wrap still on em but coming off soon!

Next I’m moving @gonzopancho rig around to facilitate it being picked up. It sounds like he may need a project!

I saw that news when we were up in the Black Hills. Very sad.
