I must confess that I'm a Nespresso junkie. I keep those machines at home, office, and sometimes even travel with a small one if we're going to be somewhere for a few days. Typically just drink a Roma or Columbia Lungo which I guess is Italian for small coffee. 3 or 4 in the mornings and maybe 1 in the afternoon but that's less than once or twice a week.

Man I need to stay out of the 200 section. This thread caught my eye and it was all I could do to not reply. Just tighten the damn things with a 1/2 drive ratchet or pull wrench and call it good. They act like these are head bolts. I feel better now. 😂

If you really want to ruin his day, ask if he put anti-sieze on the threads., and then watch the resulting conversation about torque specs. Oh Mylanta!

Anything above 55 is overrated. Don't get me started on the 100 section either, they just as f***ed up 😳😯🤔😏🤫😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
(Ducks for cover as I head over to the 100 section to figure out how to change the timing belt on the :princess: LX...)

It was pretty funny almost as good as Bob telling me not forget about the brakes we didn’t have on the way home through Vermont

My Dad is in town, so he was over with some friends. One guy has a 1959 Dodge Power Wagon that he’s been him-hawing on for 30ish years. Last time I was over there kinda went ga-ga over it, told him he needed to get it running and driving and offered to help. Since then he got it out of the weeds and in the shop. Got it running but missing on a couple cylinders - froze lifters or something (318 wide block). Went over there today to visit and ended up stoking a fire under their asses and started getting the engine pulled as opposed to sitting around drinking beer and looking at it. Pretty cool truck.

The husband of my wife’s friend races a Ferrari 488 track car as a hobby. Seemed like a good excuse to go to Dubai and watch for a few laps. I have to admit these cars will grow on you in a hurry (street version).

A 318 Poly!! Been a long time since I saw one of those. “Froze lifters”?? AFAIK, they were all solid lifter designs.

The 5/16” adjusters on the arms are known to back out when worn. The remedy used to be to rap the outside of the arm with a dead blow hammer to close-up the threaded hole and restore the grip of the imperfect threads.

That truck is purdy!!

I had a cup of cappuccino once. Camping in Rocky Mountain National park when I was in college on fall break. Took a buddy whose father died when he was young, never had left state of Okla. Fella by name of James Austin was only other guy camping at tree line above Lawn lake. He had little Cappuccino maker which made 1 small cup at a time. Cold dark night and have to admit it was pretty good. James turned out to be one of the developers of the Hubble telescope, super humble guy. 30 years later never had another, just don't want to ruin the experience.

Not sure where I was going with that....except I truly don't know wtf a latte even is. I'm not even sure I know what's in a Cappuccino and prefer to keep it that way.

Cappuccino is equal parts steamed milk, milk foam and espresso. Typically heavy on the steamed milk though.

Latte is 2 parts steamed milk to one part espresso with a bit of foam. I think they’re gross. It’s basicallly a hot milk bomb. I have no idea how you make a rainbow one. Food coloring?

I have espresso machines at home and work. As I told @PabloCruise when he asked what I “do”, I drink a lot of coffee, mostly espresso, as black and bitter as my soul.

But I will make the wife a cappuccino when she asks, because she’s nice, and pretty.

Sometimes I make two.
