Going to throw this axle in the back for now. Just another 60 housing but I did weld the third so I'll at least be locked on 1 end.

Got the slave mounted up and it's working but it is leaking. Looks like I'll make a run to NAPA tomorrow. The bracket was simple. 1/2" plate spaces the slave away from the 3 speed bellhousing far enough to line up with the stock 4 speed clutch fork. So the plate bolts to the bellhousing and the slave bolts to the plate.

Got the rear shaft built. It is .156 wall so it's a bit more stout than factory. This is with the original axle housing from my trip around the hood yesterday....................with the perches spinning free on the housing.

Got the 465 shifter modded to fit and the boot installed. The shifter location is super comfortable. Got the mini shifter in. I was stoked that I made it fit in front of the console as I was hoping to keep the factory console for storage.

And Weak-Link updated the spaghetti for me. About 90% of the vacuum line is new Toyota line. Just a couple of others to change out.

Got the rear axles swapped out. Set pinion angle and burned in the perches. Then vacuum bled the brakes. Last thing to do on the back end is the trac bar.

And then.........................

O-ring for the sector shaft was fine when I ported the box. I didn't use enough lube when reassembling so the o-ring got caught and cut. :bang:

I was pretty wound up when I saw the leak but the parts are supposed to be here tomorrow and hopefully mid day I'll be able to take another spin around the block.

Your truck looks killer. Excellent job.

Are you running a cv at the t-case end of your rear shaft? I wanted to tilt the rear pinion in line w/ the shaft, but I elected to keep it parallel with the t-case flange. I'm really interested to see if you get any vibes out of this set up. When I set up the 63" chevies I want readdress my pinion angle.

Got the new o- ring from Toyota this morning. I was surprised I got the call @ 9. Anyway, got home and got the power steering box back together. Filled it back up and took it for a spin. Needless to say I have a good amount of bleeding to do. Theres still a ton of air in the system but that's to be expected.

Should be getting the exhaust done Monday morning so that will make it a bit easier to find out what's going on with the motor.

The Toyota orders come in overnight. If they make the order by 2:00, and the part is in the San Ramon warehouse, they have it the next morning.

It's looking great, now I want to see it in person.

So its maiden voyage will be Dusy next week :grinpimp: ?

DHONDAGOD got me taken care of on exhaust yesterday. And no the stack was not plumbed in.

I threw in a new Cat and re-used a Flow Master I have used on a few other trucks.

All I need to do is build a hanger for the tailpipe section and pick up a couple of gaskets.

Heres a few pics that didn't turn out so well. Chris has some better ones.
