Way close.

We got the Trans/Toy Box/Tcase in today. The rest of the parts needed to get it running right should be in Monday. I would say it'd be running by this next weekend, but we're gonna be @ the Round-Up

Few pics of the progress.

Got the tranny stabbed in. This took all of about a half hour versus the 3 hrs. I spent on the floor of the garage trying to muscle it in. I love having the right tools.

Twin sticks I assume? The throw on the high/low might be big unless you drilled another hole in the arm. I had to drill a hole in the floor to get access to the arm once the case was in. A hole half way in the arm cut my throw in half. Design your sticks carfully.

good idea I need to do that mines like 10 in :hillbilly:

My plan is to tune the throw based on where it attaches to the handle. I've done it before and it works really well. Redriling the arm is definately another way to limit the travel though.

BTW, just had to throw this out there. I'm stoked. I didn't have to get a speedo extension or lengthen any of the wires (spedo ground/4wd light). Everything was still short enough that they all plugged right back in. :bounce: That much less work. :bounce2:

Quick question if you guys don't mind. . .

Since my transmission had provisions for a mount:

Would it be better to build one crossmember that incorporates both the transmission mount and the toybox?

OR

Build another crossmember that only incorporates the toybox mount and retain my current (modified) factory crossmember under the transmission?

My thoughts are to build one mega crossmember and skid plate combo to help eliminate the transmission and toybox/split case from twisting independently.
