found a F125 engine...question (1 Viewer)

Hello, was looking for a F135 and 3 speed trany, found one in dubai, for cheap (300 bucks), fnally arrived in France for cheap
and surprise....it is a F125 + 3 speed on steering... can you tell me more on this engine ?
oil pan modified for bigger oil capacity, with 2 big hoses going to rear, transfer have pto , ...maybe coming from a FJ28 firetuck ?
serial number is 188 xxx (don't remember the 3 last digits) , here are the pictures.

Looking at the 40 series registry your engine is a late 63 or an early 64. That transmission is also 63 or newer.
Just thinking: would a F125 be a downgraded F135? With another carb or lower compression?
The FJ25 marking on that manifold is normal for F135 engines. It is the part number.
There should be a date stamp on the engine block. Can’t find the thread where that is explained right now.
