Finally a workshop/storage/mancave

I thought that it would be nice to dress it up a bit.
I added two side pieces to add some with to it.
They have a slight bend as the top drawer tilts up a bit in the front.

Next I cut three fronts for the drawer.

And a top plate, I still need to cut that to size and bend the front and rear lip.

Almost done with the body, just the sides and the drawer fronts.

In the back there is going to be a frame to hold the gas bottle, the filler rods and pedal.

Got some extra assortiment trays

Some planks and some aluminium corner strips will make a nice cabinet.

Handle bar in the front, square tube with cuts in it for bending bolted on the front and welded the cuts.

I’m building a frame for bottle and rods.
Here is the basic frame with holder for the bottle in progress. Not sure about the bottom yet.

Attached a hinge to open up the bottle holder.

It just needs some caps.

Added extra tubes and a wooden place holder.

Almost ready to clear out the rear end repaint the floor.

reorganized the workshop. Made the car area behind the door and the machine area in the back.

Had the trays under the work bench that are now in the new cabinet. So I decided to do something with the space.

adding some sides and a front plus some felt on the inside.

very nice for specific equipment.

A local store like HF.
they are from a brand named Tactix.

Not perfect but good enough for a workshop and an afternoons work.

Ordered a DRO for the lathe and bought and installed a fourth set of storage trays.

found a mod on YouTube for the box brake that I’m going to add to it.

Really like what you are doing in your shop. Great ideas. We just did the same at the Elf Barn for storage. Found some retro bolt trays a person who use to build model T fords was selling. They don’t make them like they used to in the old days. Got a 5gal bucket of Toyota bolts to sort now.
