A bit if progress, made the base plate to connect the bracket to the saw.

then the plate.

Next I made a template for the connecting piece

I’m thinking of welding a piece of tube to the connecting plate and then add a piece of sheet metal made from 4 profiles.

Decided to weld an attachement point to the bracket and build a boxed tube in between the saw and support.
Rough sides in place.

Made two stiffener pieces between the sides and tacked the front top piece.

This makes it possible to take the section off and add more top and bottom parts.

After the box section was complete I welded everything together and painted it black.
Made a table and slapped it all together.

works perfect and the blade is dead straight to the table.

Added a few things to the saw.
Storage for the one equipment and a cable storage.

And a spot to mount the table when not in use.

Next I added wheels to my drill press.

It gets messy all the time.
And with my tool addiction it is way to full at the moment.
But having stuff on the walls is better than in drawers.
In your situation I would buy and build some shallow cabinets for on the wall.
not everything is suited for wall hanging and battery power tools take less space pointed at the walls.

Picked up this nice York vice from a shop that was shutting down its physical store.

Just before new years YvesNL came over to help me with wiring and programming a VFD to my belt grinder.
Then this happened.

A working belt grinder.
Next I have to finish up the attachments and build a rolling cabinet for it.

How are you feeling these days? Pains and aches gone? Good to see some updates.

Update time, it has been busy with work, projects and a bit of illness.
first the belt grinder project.
It’s working well I fixed the alignment issue but it creates a lot of sparks, this is why I started making some guards around the belt.

Some more guards have to be made for the other attachments and the control box needs to go up a bit.
Next I will build a rolling cabinet for it and continue from there..

Hifi cabinet.
This one is starting to see the finish line too.
The frame is mostly done working on the top.

Some new tools (toys).
I had some issues with drilling and screwing in tight areas, came across this one.
A battery powered drill that can be positioned in various angles.
