Friday I ran Poughkeepsie gulch solo with some friends riding along with me since their trucks were already packed up, I took every hard line for fun and ran the whole trail in like an hour and a half and spent two hours watching people struggle at the Wall.
I almost flopped the truck a few times taking some silly lines for fun but managed to drive out of them. I am getting more and more comfortable behind the wheel every time I drive, especially now the truck has been set up the same way for 5 years at this point without major changes.
Still waiting on pics and vids to get sent but will post them up.

Yesterday I drove from Ouray to Reno (900 miles), later today I will be heading to Tahoe City and the Rubicon trail again :bounce:
You taking the senic by way I think that's the name of the road.

Quick burger and beer at Incline Village before heading in at the Tahoe side. Let’s go.

Just read thru all 116 pages. Gotta say fun to watch the abilities/skills progress in a short # of years. And was great catching up / wheeling again at SAS.

Made it to Loon lake around noon!
Wheeled the entire trail and didn’t have to use a single tool. I did have to winch once in Little Sluice that I went through accidentally

I went through right after Jeeper’s Jamboree cleared out so I had the whole trail to myself which was great.

I didn’t take many pics but I will put the ones I took up later. Off to Santa Rosa/Sonoma for a few days.

Way overdue on uploading all my Colorado/California pics. Really been nose to the grindstone with the shop since I’ve been back. Have a TON of new products in the pipeline trying to launch as soon as possible, and re-launched the website and added a bunch of OEM part kits, with more to come.

Anyways, since the truck got back (it got shipped home from California at the beginning of this month), I did put new front brakes on it.
While on my trip I noticed this grinding on my calipers, not how this was possible but I reused the brackets I had made for my FZJ80 front brake setup when switched to the 4runner setup and somehow there was a big rotor/caliper interface issue I missed.
So for now I installed FROR’s brackets, I have some minor complaints but they do work.

Next up on the list is all my spring bushings front and rear, new spring bolts, , the new FROR keyed arms I’ve had on the shelf for two years, etc. everything is just worn out from the last few years of DD/trips/wheeling and it is really feeling clapped out right now.

Definitely need some fresh tires, I have absolutely destroyed these 37” Geolanders. I think i am going to replace them with a fresh set of the same thing.
