Yes, mine cleared it easily.Apologies if this has been covered, but do the planted brackets work with a rear heater?

Corbeau Sport black leather pre and post tuffy console swap mod. On modified corbeau double slider seat brackets. View attachment 1595277 View attachment 1595278 View attachment 1595279 View attachment 1595280
these gave me more headroom than than the OEM seats, I didnt have to mod them for more height as Im only 5"11" And I have puuled them already and swapped in custom made cerullo performance seats. not sure that helps you at all.I'm looking to put the same seats in my HDJ81 and was wondering if you modified the brackets for more legroom. what did you do to achieve this?
also, would you recommend them over the stock seats?
just a tall dude looking for space lol
There was a thread a week or so back. No go on 100 seats.Anyone know the seat width between an 80 series and 100 series? I'm considering different seats and wanted to make sure what would fit
Probably wouldn’t go more than ~21” since it will hit the little cup holder on the center console. I put in BMW 7-Series seats with 21” tracks and had to lift the height about 1/2” to be able to close the door.Anyone know what the max width can be. I found a good deal on some cadallac seats with powerhear and lumber on both seats
Seats from a ‘06 Toyota Solara. Perfect color match. The drivers seat is fully adjustable, passenger side is manual.loves them!!! View attachment 2112925
Also installed a steering wheel out of a Toyota Matrix. I don’t think i’ll be able to hookup the air bag though. But hey, myFJ60 never had one to begin with!

They are from a 2013 es350. The installation was difficult, it's all custom. Wiring was the toughest part. I had to make the seats work without a lexus body ecu. I'm happy with them. It's an extremely comfortable ride now. Driver fatigue is almost non existent. They slide back enough to fit a person thats roughly 6'5 or so to be comfortable. I have 2 full weekends into bracket fabrication. Wiring was very time consuming to figure out.what Lexus? What year? How did the install go? What kind of adapting did you need to do? How much did you have to mess with wires? Separate power source?
they look great btw, are you happy with them?
Found some pictures of the porsche seats out of a Boxster after I recovered them. View attachment 1597258
I'm also thinking about some Boxer seats. I've found an identical model as those, but in a kind of stone/puddy gray that looks (at least from photos) like it's super close to the factory gray in my 80. I'm wondering if the Planter base and some minor hammering would get me there with little guff-- or how did you mount them? Also, it would be great to know if the height was lower than the factory leather ones. I would prefer that and certainly don't want to be sitting up any higher. I assume these have the manual slider too?
Thanks,
