Nice! Eastern Oregon. One of my favorite places!
AC? As in Air Conditioning? Very Cool🥶🧊

Finally got the 55 moved next to the shop. Most of the new parts are here. Water pump. Hoses. Clutch master and slave. Center arm rebuild kit. Getting the radiator cleaned and alternator rebuilt. Looking for a reasonable priced voltage regulator. Can't wait to start driving it

I swapped to a 60 series, internal regulated alternator. Coolerman makes the plug and play wiring connectors to bypass the external regulator. Just an option if you want a few more amps with no mechanical changes necessary.

Same here. No regrets.

Starting to get some time for the 55, @dogfishlake sent me part of a fender and our local shop did an Great job grafting it in, @Rix 45 had a glove box door up for sale and it looks awesome. Things are coming together. Today I plan on getting the new rear window seals installed we are planning a trip this weekend and I need to get the rear window installed. I love bombing around town in this rig.

That is a nice glove box door. Good deal there. Your radio looks interesting. Is it a period correct aftermarket item? Or stock? Never seen one like it, but the fj60 style AM and FM buttons are sweet. So high tech for the day 😆. I love that stuff. Better times.

First trip out to Johnson Valley Ca. Perfect weather and the 55 ran Great. A few electrical issues were working through other than that I was really happy.

I met a very good friend Tiana Walton while in Johnson Valley, She was a photographer we met a the at this years King of the Hammers. She is from the UK and had never even seen a 55 in person. So I drove it out yesterday and we have a Great day wheeling. A few minor trail repairs, lunch and perfect weather.

I can see it coming Pre running the King of the Hammers in a 55, It’s Looks good out there

Haven't posted much on the 55. Slowly getting everything working. Thanks to @Drice the rear window and gear is working perfectly Thanks. The last few days I have been replacing all the vent hoses for the fuel tank. I am really excited about getting the AC working. At some point I will have to swap it over the R134.
