Had a nice coffee with @yotadude520 this morning on his way to Denver. Thanks for letting me drive the 60 with the 3rd pedal I always wanted .

Hoping this new cap helps with the burping fluids per the v8 swap thread. TBD.

Also added another exhaust hanger since my oem/hybrid middle hanger de-vulcanized itself

Also my bumper finally shipped, FYI that Dissent appears to be on a 19-20week lead time.

Got the rear bumper painted and installed. Ran out of paint so the swingout will have to wait for another couple days

@yotadude520 showed up an hour after I installed it . Good time shooting the s*** in the shop though

Does the bumper slide up towards tail lights more about 1/2”? I may not have looked at Ben’s 62 carefully enough.

Fully seated as I have it, less than a fingers width remains. I think the hitch assembly sets the depth.

Perhaps the 60 crossmember is slightly different in depth?

No i am talking up towards the tail light. I think it fits tighter on the body. I might be wrong though.

Like if you un tighten the bolts and jack up on the bumper.

Gotta say that the Dissent bumper is pretty damn legit and well engineered. Pumped to see it with the swing out on!

Due to the top bolts, the bumper is pulled into the hitch and crossmember, so without spacers it’s as-is

Finally with the decals. Really finishes this thing up. Of course there are lockers , a winch and headlights to buy. But this is good enough since my first child is due to be born soon.

Only could have used one once a week or so ago. But agree, I rarely used them on my TJ years ago
