You really should wheel it a few times before adding a locker/s

Totally agree here. If you're gonna wheel the s*** out of it maybe if not ehhh you will be fine until your not then figure out if you really need them. I will say your rig turned out very nice lockers will lead you to body damage at some point.

Finally with the decals. Really finishes this thing up. Of course there are lockers , a winch and headlights to buy. But this is good enough since my first child is due to be born soon.

Had a nice coffee with @yotadude520 this morning on his way to Denver. Thanks for letting me drive the 60 with the 3rd pedal I always wanted .

Hoping this new cap helps with the burping fluids per the v8 swap thread. TBD.

Also added another exhaust hanger since my oem/hybrid middle hanger de-vulcanized itself

Hell yeah Brian! Looks great with the decals on.

I'd also recommend waiting on lockers, I did some steep rock climbs this weekend and the truck did fine even in 2WD.

Did a small shakedown run with my buddy that we have been working on his turbo 302 Bronco build. Everything ran great.

195F the whole time till I stopped in the small town and barely got to 205. Hell even got 15MPG

Runs great so far, the charge pipe came off with a loose band clamp but easily solved.

Got the retrobrights installed. Had to do two modifications to get it right. The h840 “Toyota” harnesses don’t work off the shelf.

I used one of the universal adapters that come with each headlight to adapt the input to the h840 like this

Then the ground and low beams are pinned wrong on the output of the harness. I just repinned all 4 of those

All 4 low and hi, like it should have always been

Serious improvement in light output, and the RetroBrights look correct. Atleast they aren’t JW price
