Got everything off and all steering replaced.

I took this weird ass steering thing apart 3 times doubting myself on it being right. Odd piece of equipment.

Knuckles from @cruiserjunktion new parts from @cruiseroutfit , knuckle rebuild kit from Marlin Crawler I’ve had for 2 years in the garage, rotors, calipers, pads from Rock Auto. I do my best to support capitalism.

Drank beer with dad and just stared at the pig.

Keep waiting for @jmack to pop in and put it back together

What a mess! Almost a roll of paper towels per side. This IS the freshest front end Ive ever had ever ever. If it can be replaced, it has been. The 1” spacers are so the stock wheels won’t hit the 60 brakes.


Only two trips to the store today 1) to try to find new brake lines and then 2) a grinder to fit inside the ball to open up the inside of the housing for the 60 birf. Not too bad I think.


Then a little boating to truly feel middle class and finish off the day.

Ah yiss! That is how I do it too, the pile o' tools on one side, the pile of soiled shop tile on the other side.

I always stock 1 roll per side.
