Is MegaSquirt the way to go for fuel injecting the F series @PabloCruise ?

If you wanted to inject the F or 2F the TBI that Nolan @wngrog linked would be fine to go with. But if you already had a 3FE, then the opportunity would be in engine management. My understanding is the 3FE divides the engine into 2 banks, and simply gang-fires each bank at some time. W/ the MegaSquirt you can fire individual injectors and I think have more control over timing, and of course tune things...

Well..

1) while the sad Hogger looked on, we put brakes, rotors, and CV on my buddies Honda one Monday to save him $900
2) went to beach one Monday
3) the next Monday, took off worthless shocks and installed OME ones NOTE: this is the wrong way to install shocks!
4) broke off bolt on fuel pressure regulator
5) backed bolt out and all good. Think it may have fixed the fuel/starting issue....

Slowly slowly slowly fixing her up.

Of course it doesn’t pull like the Tundra, but the 3FE and manual tranny is a great set up and fun to drive. The steering is now the weak link for hauling ass anywhere.

The 33”s make the Speedo read about 4-5mph slow. The dropped RPMs made it really nice at 55-60 indicated, plenty drivable at 65-69 indicated.

Yeah don’t spend a bunch of time and money on a 40/55/mini truck PS. All still use the push pull drag link and you will never get the steering as tight as you want it with that nonsense in there.
