Calirado is #1 on pretty much everyones list. Man has our state been messed up. Rant off, there are some still really cool places there that haven't been overrun.

NM or UT are on the list as well. I want to be in the mountains and don't want to be near a big city. Wherever that may be will be worth the effort.

I'm with you guys. Somewhere away from big cities in Idaho, NM, or Utah would work for me. I don't need any help from a bunch of nanny state do-gooders to run my life - especially when I retire. Just a big @$$ garage and some peace and quiet. I'll take the occasional surf trips for fun, but day-to-day, I'll take the mountains.
