I was going to try and start it today. The starter is dead. By the time I was ready to swap them out I ran out of patience.

And someone loved this truck at one point but it also shows the time since it’s been run. It’s got a 15600-41010 on it.

This thing needs a wiring harness. Both of the buss bars in the engine bay are burnt, there's a garden hose going through the firewall jumping to where the ignition switch is run...the ends of the ignition switch are cut...some really weird stuff is going on. I'm trying to source a harness for thing thing before I get any more serious with it.

@Coolerman should be able to help.

My good friend and I rebuilt the carb. This 3/69 to 9/69 carb is a little bit of an oddball.

I need to find an accelerator pump boot and a spring and linkage for the pump arm.

I’m almost ready to pull this 40 out of storage and start playing with it.

Welcome home. Time to make this junk run.

I foolishly went with the same carb. My boot is half gone even after the rebuild (it wasn’t replaced). I need to find the fuel line you have.

I got the itch and dug into this. The top is rusty, much more than the tub so every time I touch it, I get showered with rust.

So I’m taking the top off. I’ll end up with a Columbian soft top.

The rest will be off tomorrow. The B pillars really didn’t want to move. Lots of penetrating oil and the jack moved them.

Get ready to feel the power of the mighty F engine now :steer:

No telling if this one will run happily. It turns over by hand.

I’ve got a spare complete drivetrain for this truck too.

I know what Canadian Air Conditioning is, hadn’t heard of a Columbian Soft Top. I guess I’m a wee dense as I still don’t get it…

Get you some.
It’s actually a soft top made in Columbia.

No joke; only soft facts.

I can’t put ac on this pile, but a soft top and no doors would work nicely.
