There is def a sweet spot. Very odd that sometimes it goes right in and other times you have to get it just right. Drove it around today and water temp was on the higher side of the stock gauge with no fan. I bought @boots4 dual electric fans and now need to get a controller. @FJ60Cam said Speedhut gauges should be here in about a month.Awesome. So did you fix your shifting issues?

Nice! I went for Hurst short shift for the 75. It was a hidden gem when I found it online. Core shifters seems to be the only one making it.Awesome. So did you fix your shifting issues?

You should be able to shift without clutch as well in the sweet spot. Just have to do it slowly which with short shifter is not easy.There is def a sweet spot. One of our past employees did this in our F350 pump truck and trashed the transmission so I’m wondering where @Mr Cimarron is going with this?I've only felt comfortable going into 4th without a clutch.
Yup. That’s where I pull my coolant for the heater but I think it’s the stock sensor location on the 6BT.I’ve read the back of the motor is a better location for the water temp sensor. Is this the location with the plug?
