I took pre measurements so I’ll take post measurements once I pick them up.
Remember these are custom builds. My measurements are determined by my location of 4BTmotor, bell housing, NV4500 transmission, Advance adapter, transfer case, and placement of front and rear axles.

Picked up rear driveline. Ken forgot to put the DC joint on the front driveline.
Owe well at least I will be able to move it. Said it’d be done Monday and he’d ship it for free.

Working on the nitty gritty stuff now. Brakes & power steering stuff. In all the swap stuff I cannot find the fittings for the PS gearbox. The gearbox has 16MMx1.5 for the pressure side and 17MMx1.5 for the return.

I remember the return having a long tube for the hose to PS pump. Where do you get this?

The pressure side is 16MMx1.5 and needs to go to 6AN. I found this one at Summit. This one is wrong.

My Napa PS pump has horrible instructions in regard to the pressure port thread and style. I need to get these port fittings and the pressure side hose.

Had a little time to run by shop today during a service call. Picked up and installed a coolant overflow reservoir.
The engine bay is getting closer.

I believe the Cummins pump is 16mm O ring and Toyota box is 16mm inverted flare. At least that is for 80 series and don’t know if 60 is the same. I have my Summit cart saved that I was working on last week for when the time comes to order. I’m hoping it correct.

Yesterday made a gusset plate to strengthen the transmission crossmember, painted it and installed. Installed the rear driveshaft.

Got the master cylinder and rear proportioning valve installed. Unfortunately the bleeder on the drivers rear caliper was seized and broke so wasn’t able to bleed the brake system.

Rolled the 60 out so Mike and I could get measurements for shocks. This was exciting to see our hard work in progress.

Where do you find these for the 17MM port on the low pressure side of the gearbox?

The PS gearbox looks like it needs an inverted flare.

Time to think shocks.
Here are the measurements for the shock extension and compression from Saturday. Also bump stop measurements.

At max flex the front tires were hitting the front of the wheel wells. The top plate on the Ruff Stuff U-bolt plate has 3 holes. We place it in the middle hole. Going to move the axle back an inch to get better clearance. The front driveshaft is still at 6 States so am going to let Ken know the changes. Took these measurements at ride height and while lifting the front of 60 with forklift til tires came off the ground.

You can get the fittings for the steering box from PSC. I don’t like to use aluminum fittings for high-pressure lines.

For the 17mm return if you don’t want to run an AN-style line you could just get the stock return line fitting from a Land Cruiser. Should be the same on any 60 or 80.

The aluminum is just one I found last night. Mostly just wanted to see if that’s the correct style. I plumb every day and searching for these fittings is ridiculous. You think they’d be easier to find. Do you have a link to PSC?

Portland Oil Filter Company has all the power steering parts I needed. Got the high pressure hose and fittings.

Got fitting for Napa power steering line.

Got 60s gearbox 16MM inlet and 17MM return.

I’ve got a Wabco vacuum pump. The 3/8” NPT brass bushing goes in nicely but won’t get snug. At oil filter shop now trying to figure out what will work. Bought from Napa and they had no idea what fitting would work.
