Thanks! @WarDamnEagle How about a picture underneath on one side... Trying to figure out how/ where it attaches to the frame.

I edited the post above with an after photo. Unfortunately I am in Alabama and the truck is in Riyadh. I will look but I don't think I have any photos showing the attachment points. You can completely assemble the bumper and then attach it. Should be obvious where it attaches if you do it that way.

Whoa! You were able to order all the parts as one boxed kit? For my Troopy I had to research every freakin' part and fastener to piece it all together... though I suppose there's some "assembly" part number that could have made it easier.

Good luck... 70-series OEM bumpers are a parts smorgasbord.

Yeah, no kidding. Not sure if the 77 series bumper is as bad but my OEM one felt like it came off in a million pieces.

Came from a mining truck from Ms. Penny if you know who I am talking about. No part number on it, but clearly came this way from Mr. T.

I like to think of this more as a license plate holder and step.....

I think I am missing a couple holes in the frame, which seems logical with the 75 frame and the 79 bumper.

I was able to order every part either individual or as part of an assembly for my 75. Many if not all of the parts appeared to interchange with the 79 series. Maybe the brackets are different but if so it would only be on the frame end and not the bumper end. I know I ordered at least one new bracket for my 75 which would work with the rest of your parts if that's the problem.

Got a bunch of stuff done on the bed. Mud flaps, steps, and finished wiring up the back bumper.

Well after a long period of being a little burned out on this project, decided it was time to wrap it up and get this thing sold. The list is on not that long but as you’ll see this car really delivers... first up was turn signals with Park lights on we’re not working in that just being a simple bulb issue. Before figuring that out I went ahead and put in new column switches

Next up with something I thought was very simple. So I jinxed this from the start.... the radio was always on, no matter what position the key was in. I figured it was as simple as hooking up switched power to the radio instead of constant power. Figured 10 minute job. That stopped instantly when I saw that the only thing holding the radio in with zip ties. So first up was I fabricated some aluminum brackets to hold the radio in properly. Being quite proud of my creation, I pull the radio out only to find that the shade tree mechanic didn’t find a wiring harness to plug in the radio so simply connected some wires and filled cavity with epoxy. So now unless I wanted to try to chisel out the Epoxy this was in need of a new radio

Next up was the windshield wipers. I tested the motor with the FSM and it turned out fine. So I wired it back up to the car, but I still don’t have returned to park so it must be a relay issue. Anyone had this problem before?

Also in this picture you can see I got all the wiring harness rewrapped and cleaned up

Pretty sure we just went thru the wiper mystery on our truck when we switched to the stalk that has the 'mist' option. On the Troopy, there was a plug tucked up in the harness that had a jumper(the Troopy had 'mist' factory)....that plug with the jumper did something for the park function. I'll get with my tech to see if he can't shed a little more light on it.
