The next step in evolution is going to be revealing a 2F and installing a transition F head after replasing valve guides, seels, and checking the valves maybe a SBC valve upgrade aswell.

Pacer was right cleaned the carb. and found the idle solenoid was not working (no 12V). Installed a 60 distributor and igniter Retimed it now a valve adjustment.
Got the winch and dual batteries installed. Working on led lights in the front bib marker lights.

Got my marker lights working. Had to make the bulb housing shorter because of were I put the scout steering box. Used a LED light in the shortens housing.
Modified the 3 speed skid plate for the sm465

Rewired my old paper fuse block with a newer plastic one and relocated it under the dash. Tryed to start the cruiser today and found I did not run power to the coil. Got the coil power tighed in now she purrs like a kitten!

GSMTR is ON. The 40 is ready to go!
Got the CB installed and antenna tuned.
Heep hood latches on.
Dual battery setup done.

GSMTR did not go as planned had a breakdown on the tow rig and a water pump went on the 40 and could not find one anywhere.
Got the hard luck award!
And got a shroud and a plastic fan now the temp is staying around 180-185deg.
Now getting ready for CMCC.

Sorry to hear you broke down after traveling all the way their for the run. Good reason to bring out the v8 power always a water pump around for them, of course the new pump will probably last another 30 years.
