Big day today, I've got the iron pig loaded for adventure. I'm going solo 4 wheeling up and into the ishi wilderness to spend 2 nights in some shade by a creek. I brought food, water, books tools, extra fluids and a 5 gallon fuel can filled.
I need to hit one grocery store on the way, but I'm finally doing it. I'm going camping with the Iron pig.
What books are you bringing?

These are some of of the fuel lines which were replaced.
The truck still ran great, it just leaked fuel when it sloshed side to side...
I also put the vapor canisters in it from my parts truck. I don't know what happened to my original vapor canisters...

After replacing all of my 3/8" line I took my girlfriend and her kid to ice cream. Emery, the kid said he smelled gas. Which I believe even though neither I nor my gf smelled it. The next known problem area was the gas cap, which has a broken rubber seal. I ordered one at Toyota over the weekend and it arrived yesterday. It no longer locks, but that's fine, it's factory and it looks good. As you can see from the photo I still had some sloshing and leaking going on as evidenced by the pattern of dust stuck to the paint beneath the fuel

On my way home from work yesterday this happened. I'm driving this thing to work every day and on the weekends. Its what they call a "daily driver" and I really like it.
I've got a 10 mile commute through the countryside, so not holding up much traffic... I'm a mechanic so I don't get stuck broke down in a suit and tie...
I've got coveralls on all the time...
This weekend I'm taking my friend and his cousin to Sacramento to the Jamaican food store. They're both Jamaican and we go down there for foodstuffs sometimes...
I fit in the landcruiser better than I fit in my 93 truck... That's the main factor that has me driving it, my personal comfort. I can drive it further without back pain, if you can belive that...

To each his own. Time atop three different bench seats in two Pigs made me eternally grateful for F150 captains chairs. Life’s too short…

I like my bench seat after a back breaking day of work. It's soft and springy. Most modern pickup truck seats are hard like a sports car. If your back doesn't fit their profile its not comfortable. My old fluffy bench seat does exactly what I need after flagging 10 or 12 flat rate hours in 8 clock hours...

I read your post and you say "and this happened"
I am thinking to myself, oh boy. What broke down? Then I scroll to the photo and took me a sec. A Roll Over! yay

Well today I got the wild hair up my ass to take dad up the hill for a cheese burger. I picked him up at model railroad club at 11:30 and we headed up the hill towards butte meadows. There was a roadhouse there called the outpost. They closed but the other roadhouse is still open called Bambi inn. We stopped and got out, parked across the street because the lot was full of motorcycles. No sooner did we get out of the truck, dad announces "I've got to find someplace to poop"
Within 10 seconds he had crapped his pants.
The people in the bar directed me to the restrooms and we got dad cleaned up as much as possible, got back in the truck and we went home. Dad's all showered up now and his clothes are in the wash...
He's eating a salad, mom made for him.
