I like the wheels too! I just bought 5 of the FJ Co replica wheels during their 30% off Black Friday sale. They are 16” so will need to sell my 15” old school look D window wheels and almost new BFG K02’s. Pretty excited!! Jim, can’t wait to see BatPig when it’s done!
Didn’t realize FJ Co made these but now I do. Wish I had captured that sale. Gonna order some this weekend. Saves having my others powder coated at this time. Thanks for sharing!

Interior panels that will be seen are being bodyworked. Skim coat of filler. Interior had a bunch of dings and nicks from cargo loaded and unloaded that would have shown bad in paint.

Doors, underside of hood, front fenders, front sheetmetal inner fenders, tailgate, back seat, inside doors, & hinges are the next round.

I might as well ask this question here; I mean it's not like you don't have a few restoration threads to choose from. What is your general approach to the frames? Mine has a lot of surface rust but no real cancer.

I don’t have any true restorations going on. They’re all restomod.

Generally just deal with what’s there. Repaint as necessary. Hasn’t really been an issue.

Great question as I’ve been pondering painting frame on Delancy’s (Clyde) when we do body swap.

Thinking of something like Chassis Saver but really have zero experience with this.

I'm currently researching chemical dip, e-coat processes. That would likely be followed by an epoxy primer and chassis black topcoat. But at the moment it's just a bit of reaching out to a few companies in the southeast.

Agree something like that would be ideal. I’m limited to what I can do while still a rolling chassis.
