Looking really good!! How did they get the Lizard Skin to look so smooth? I also did both Heat and sound LS but the end product was a bit like bed liner…which I wanted but later found out the LS look isn’t as durable as a. WD liner product.

Also, glad to see that you put LS on the roof. I also did that but then wasn’t sure of the product so I also put Dynamat on the roof thinking once I put in the headliner that was final. Glad I did both.

This is the sealer. Next is lizard skin, heat and sound, two coats of each, everywhere you see sealer. 18 gallons total.

Last of the sound control being applied. Now it cures for at least 24-36 hours and then the two layers of heat control goes on.

Taping for sealer, then lizard skin. Lizard skin applied properly is a 3 day process: 24-36 hours between coats. Sealer goes down, has a flash window. Lizard skin has two coats per ceramic or sound control. Simple stuff, water based, stir it, pour it out of the gallon, shoot , repeat.

That is our customers 80 in the background. Sure been waiting awhile for it to get done.

Might have to hassle him again tomorrow as he is behind (again) and we are waiting for him to do four 79-series doors too. Slightly irritated to see him working on your Cruiser when he has had that 80 since last March.
