Orion? Chevy V8? A set of 37s?!

I can't handle myself, this is the best page I've read in a while. Please don't stop.

Funny. Eventually I’ll stop. I want the owners to drive them. I can’t wait for the owner of Weenie 3 to get to take that one out. Here is another awesome read of you get bored

@fireball I am not even sure I know what it is. @wngrog has been given a lot of discretion.

This is how we determined the direction of this build

Got 3 hours in on the Mustard 78 this afternoon putting on the Beno goodness I received.

The thing I love about OEM hoses is you don’t have to monkey with trimming them. They are the perfect length.

Drivers side motor mount is installed. OEM motor mounts are superior to aftermarket. I snapped a brand new set doing clutch dumps in the Warthog. The OEM ones laugh.

This OEM antennae is really nice too. Crazy you can still get them.

This hole in the cowl, however, is not nice. It looks like a damn rat chewed a hole there. For such an original, non molested truck, this kind of stuff offends me

Finally, I purchased a calendar for @FJ60Cam to keep up with his busy 2020 calendar at Mosley Motors.

You've got baby Yoda there in that picture helping you. So that's how you get all this work done so quickly!!!

Great work, I love following this thread.

My lab would collect cutoffs when I was sawing lumber on projects. He'd have a pile of them at the end of the day. Made cleanup easier!

Skipped the gym today and ran around dropping and picking up

Fiberglass cap to the headliner dude

Real Steel D-lux tailgate panel dropped at the powdercoater. He is going to send off one of the amby door hinges so the powder company can match the faded yellow as good as possible. This thing is stout.

He’s also got a real pimp 3D printer that I need to figure out how to use

I clicked this thread because one does not skip over a @jmlockwood build, but I stayed because Nolen is mindblowing.

The amount of work that has been completed since Jan 5th is insane, so hard to fine people like this with such skill and attention to detail. Love to see it and jealous

Well that’s awfully kind. I enjoy people that share the same vision I do on these things. Although we are sparing no expense, we are not just looking for things to do.

Looking forward to a few hours with it tonight.

When I first agreed to give the truck a baseline and tune (funny), I had seen where John had mentioned that he did not like the KOs and was going to get KM3s.

I quickly messaged him and asked if he had purchased tires yet. He said no and I went into my rant about how tiny 33x10.50-15’s are and would he be open to another style and size.

With a 4 speed and 4.11s you want all the rubber overdrive you can get and seeing that the KM3 measures out 30.5” tall on a Cruiser wheel I suggested he get gray City Racer 16” replica wheels like I run on my 40 and 45 as well as my favorite MTs .... Yokohama G003 MTs in 255/85-16

@wct49 ordered these oddballs up for me and mounted them today

Beautiful. 32.5” tall and 9” wide. I run them on my 60 and 40 and they are superb tires

Yokos and Toyos come with this cool little dot that, if you line it up with the valve stem you can get the best balance with the least amount of weight. 49T was able to keep what little weight they needed on the inside of the wheel as well.
