Started on the most urgent of the maintenance items that have been nagging at me with the front wheel bearings.

The spindles and bushings have enough wear that I decided to make another order from Cruiser Brother/Valley Hybrids for the upgraded spindles from Terrain Tamer. Thanks @orangefj45.

I also had purchased a new birfield from them quite some time ago when I thought the left one was going out, so it's being replaced as well as both axle seals with OEM parts.

The other need is all the suspension bushings, which I already have, but am finding the time to tackle. Also have to find someone to weld these on for me.

Trying to figure out exactly where that is...

Lots!
Picked up a 40th that looked pretty meh. Lots of rust, wood trim looked terrible, really dirty, rusty underneath, rusty winch, etc. working in stages and on several projects at once but pretty much did the following:

Fixed saggy visors (magnet)
Fixed wobbly mirrors (Zip tie)
Removed rear rusty light guards
Removed wood trim (looked even worse in person)
Cleaned entire interior
Repainted “superwinch lettering”
Plasti dipped door handles, flares, front grill
Began removing rust from underneath. Will remove ads much as possible over the next few days then treat it
Adjusted headlights, were pretty much facing the floor
Painted wiper arms, looked bad with rust
Grinded rust off of winch and hook, looks much better
And more I can’t think of.

How are you liking that tarp/awning? I have one and love it. It is a little challenging to set up by yourself and I have had a monsoon storm blow it down. I've been actually pretty surprise how well in works in the rain. I just need to up my game setting it up.

Replaced all of the suspension bushings

Used a Harbor Freight 12 ton press that I pushed to maximum capacity! I don’t care for suspension work, so I used OEM, figuring that they will outlast the remaining life of the truck.

This finishes off the major work on this restoration which includes:
LS swap
Replace and refurbished interior
Body work, replacing 3 doors, new paint
New shoes
This will be my daily driver, camping ,fishing vehicle. No big bumpers or sliders , in order to keep the weight down. It’s a road warrior with capable off road abilities, triple locked, 30 mm spacers on stock springs. Wife loves the running boards so don’t ask😬😆
Looking to add a Prinsu or Bowfin rack soon.
did you notice any difference with new bushings ?

been giving driving lessons to my 13 year old in the local creek bed... loads of fun, my kids are growing up fast.
