OK so this is going to be a long one but bear with me. Im looking to start at $14,500. Will entertain reasonable offers. Im selling to buy an 80 series. I just built this truck using all Marlin/Allpro/toyota/yukon parts. All of the best parts brand new, no used junk yard parts. It is a perfectly reliable Daily Driver and ridiculously capable rock crawler. That being said, the build just finished..... it has not been off road once. I am the third owner of the 4runner. There is NO RUST ANYWHERE. It was a Texas truck, then Alabama, then Tennessee. Ill try to break it down nicely so you see everything and hopefully I dont forget anything.

We have a 94 toyota 4 runner 4x4 v6 3.0, its runs and drives good. Has a bad head gasket, the other has been replaced, they put a sealant in it cause it was originally gonna be used as a ranch truck. Tags are out, title in hand. Body is straight. The oil will need to be changed every 1000 miles until it clears up. Just put new plugs, wires, coolant, power steering fluid and oil change on it. Needs a front bumper and switch for the sunroof, has no radio, but everything else works fine. Its a good truck and would be great for a toy. Selling for a friend, her family vehicles motor went out and shes having to sell this to pay for repairs. Asking $2000 o.b.o.

Purchased in 2010 with 127K on the odometer. 195K now. At some point before I got it, the PO installed a new radiator. I installed a B&M trans cooler in series shortly after I brought it home. This has been a very reliable truck, well-maintained by me and the local Toyota dealership.

I sold my Land Cruiser last week fully intending to get into a Tacoma build, but plans have fizzled a bit due to prices being slightly insane so I've started looking at 3rd gen Runners for now. Aside from some outliers it seems like I should be able to nail one down for a reasonable price with somewhat low mileage and well cared for. I've looked at 10 or so Tacomas since last weekend here and it's either rust-buckets, beaten up, overpriced or all three. My other option is a 22re truck but I'm back and forth on that for driving it across the across the country.
So, looking for a well maintained 3rd Gen, preferably near 23451 (Virginia Beach, VA) with the lowest mileage I can get, think sub 140K, (sub 100K would be a dream...
I am looking to sell my 2005 Toyota 4Runner with just over 160,000 miles. Asking price is $12,500. It is a V8, Limited, 4WD with navigation. It is in good condition with better-than-average wear for a vehicle with 160,000 miles on it. I have owned it for 5 years and have had no issues with it. Other than having slightly larger-than-stock tires, everything is stock.
The manifold has a crack, which causes a ticking sound with acceleration. This seems to be common for the 4.7 liter V8. But there is no exhaust leaking into the cabin. Haven't listed this on Craigslist/KSL yet but I thought I would throw it up on here first.
Bought it a year ago with a blown head gasket. Did the whole job with a local shop, motor runs great.
The truck is overall in great shape. Interior is fantastic, it's got nice new big tires. There is a rattle here and there, it's got a few things that I am taking care of this week (back window doesnt roll down, rear anti-lock light is on. It also is burning oil, not sure if it's the rings or what. Doesn't leak oil.

The time has come to part with my beloved truck. This thing has taken us all up and down the East Coast and provided an easy means to check trip after trip off our travel list. I've owned the 4Runner since 2004 and it has been nothing but awesome. Our only reason for letting it go is that we needed something with a 3rd row. This truck is awesome and I love it! It's average 17.4 mpg over the past 46k miles. It has been aggressively maintained by myself (when possible and reasonable) and professionally maintained when necessary. I have all the service and maintenance history for the past 12+ years. It has a ton of "upgrades" and hopefully I won't forget and miss any on the list.
