Pretty great series on YouTube watching the legendary Shannon Campbell's fabrication processes on on FJ40.

I have been watching that as well. Pretty cool, he has a soft spot for FJ40's, just not stock. One of his trail wheelers, has the look with his custom fiberglass hood/fenders on. I think he did some work on Dan's from Ruff Stuff as well.

I've never seen any photos of Dan's....have any to share? Love the black one he built for his dad that he uses from time to time. Guy sure is a talented fabricator, and seems like just a genuinely great guy all around.

There were a few on the old Campbell Enterprises website, FJ45 pickup.

When I was racing, I drank a few beers with him, Nick and his dad a few times. I watched the kids grow up too. Always a super cool guy, the same in person as in the videos, except the "lol". That still cracks me up.

"....It's going to be more of a streetable Jeep..."

Ouch
I mean it's Shannon Campbell, he calls his 300K race car junk, I give home a lot of latitude.

We needed some hard to find hardware at KOH and he tore his trailer apart getting what we needed. Then made sure we had everything else else we needed. Rock solid guy.

I'm just poking some fun.
obviously the guy has skills and a great reputation, and is doing really cool build and posting it for all of us mouth breathers to drool over.

What struck me was his casual approach to alot of work. He just got back and first thing was to break down his junk & clean everything, most people would have parked it and moved on to more pressing matters, that tells me Shannon has done well enough for himself to be able to set his own schedule and do what he wants, good for him, isnt that the goal? looking forward to the vids.

After watching the first few minutes of that video I thought the same.
To have done well enough to be able to go spend the day cleaning my shop and toys after a week of use and do what I want on my schedule. That’s “the dream”

his channel is a pretty good look at a sweet retirement. Goals.
