WTB: 4runner for economy vehicle
My wife and I are looking for a economy vehicle. We are looking to spend less than $8,000.
She wants a car I would love to have a 4 cylinder 1st gen 4runner, that isn't all hacked up. So anything along those lines. If it is a truck/SUV it needs to be a Toyota. I won't be so picky when it comes to cars.
I would love to do a some kind of trade with her truck which is a 91 4runner SR5 with a 3.0 V6 and auto tranny.
Her truck is in really good shape minus a rusted corner of the rear bumper and a few other things you might expect on a 16 year old truck.

I am selling my 2002 F250 diesel. The truck is in great mechanical shape. Exterior is in good shape for a truck that has 79k miles. It has a 3" Fabtech Lift with new MotoMetal 951s. The tires are BFGs 315s with about 10k miles on them. Would make an awesome tow rig. I am asking $23,500. I would also consider a full or partial trade for a 1997-2004 LC. The truck is located in NW Arkansas.

I bought this truck and have $2500 in it. Originally came with a 20r but now has a upgraded 22r engine, has a weber carb, but it is super, gets over 20 mpg. Cold A/C, 4 speed manual, nice little truck. Fresh Super White paint job, none of the typical rust. Really looks great. Interior is old, has a small rusted spot on the drivers side floor board, maybe 4inches x 4inches. Everything works. Could easily have a little time put into it and be sold for double the price. If you want to check it out, I can put you in contact with my father since I am currently out of the country. Great truck, feel free to come see it an test drive it. I promise you won't be disappointed. I don't need the money just need to thin the herd for another possible...

I rebuilt the engine with Toyota rings, bottom end and a DOA c270 cam. Crank was machined .25 undersized. Stock pistons.

The Truck
• 1985 Canadian titled BJ70 with 430,000 kms (267,000 miles). Engine was rebuilt at 390,000 kms, and turbo-ed at 410,000 kms. Great compression all across.
The Good
• Rebuilt 3B with Lebaron Turbo on a 13B-T manifold. 40,000 kms on the rebuild. Makes great power.

I have a 93 FZJ 80 w/ eLockers and 7pin on 37" SSR's w/ about 60%
tread and syped. 206k on the OD but the eng only has 80k and trans
has 125k. It also has some kind of high flow cat and Flow Master exhaust!
It currently has no bumpers or sliders. That can be changed depending on what you have.
I want to trade for a 2nd generation 4runner with 4 doors, a/c and
would prefer Automatic but if you have a Marlin dubler or 4.7 low
gear in it I would take a stick! But it MUST have a SOLID AXLE
SWAP and lockers!!! I am not that concerned about the body
condition just don't want a rusty one!

1980 BJ 41 with 2b motor, runs great, 4 speed manual. Starts right up with no smoke even in winter. New tires, batteries,clutch cylinder and water pump. Recently had radiator reboard. No problems with it. I live in So Cal and it gets pretty hot so it was just precautionary. 87,000 miles on original motor. Some rust on outside in creases on side steps. Interior is in great shape. Factory flooring, billet grill,roof rack. Alpine stereo installed in glove box so that dash would remain in original condition. Selling to by larger cruiser. Completely registered and titled in CA. I have entire A/C unit that came with it. It needs to be reinstalled. Removed it for power steering unit and just havnt had time to put it back in. 13,000
