Up for sale is a 97 LC that is very clean with 98,000 miles. Looking for $10,000 for this unit, I picked it up about 2 years ago thinking I was going to upgrade it with add-ons but just never got motivated. I put 5000 miles on it in last 2 years which is why I am thinking about putting it up for sale. It’s a waste to let it just sit.
So I putting it up for sale to see if there’s is any interest, the only things that are wrong is the driver door lock is not working with remote? Not sure about the rear window defroster working? Other than that everything works as it should.

Still in the market for a nice stock 80 series. Prefer white with gray cloth or leather in decent condition, stock, lockers a plus, but does not make a difference, less than 200k, non-smoker, rust free. I didn't build it, but Al did a great job.
I've fixed *most* of the little things that get overlooked during a conversion like this - driveline vibe, steering, Air Conditioning, etc.
EDIT 03/04/10: Asking $6,500. The H42 definitely has a bad 2nd gear synchro...drives fine as long as you don't use 2nd gear. Price is "as is".

I need a diesel because i will do a lot of miles and there is some place where i will go in south america where there is no gaz station for many many mile, so i need a good autonomy.
I need a 4x4 very reliable who will be able to go almos everywhere.
Do you think the hj60 is a good choice ?

I don't know but it seems cheap. Altamont is in Illinois, about 45 minuts from me. It s right off of the junction of interstate 57 and 70 in Southern Illinois.

I have an 86' 4-runner on 38" swampers. 5.29 gears, 4" suspension, 3" body, add a leaf in the back. The entire truck is stripped out except for the front 2 seats with 4-point seatbelts. 160,000 miles on the truck. the motor is the 22 re 4 cyl. it was rebuilt about 20,000 miles back. I have owned the truck for the last 14 years, i sold it to a family member for about a year during that period and baught it back. I do have a hard top for it. Minor problems with the truck are the power steering leaks, i have the gasket set to fix, the exhaust leaks, and the brakes are starting to slightly stick. The truck needs a little T.L.C. Let me know if anybody is interested. $4500.00

Pluses:
A nice bumper, roof rack (Doesn't have to be anything special, I surf, kayak, bike, etc...), nice tires (new-ish), lift, whatever else everyone like ourselves likes to do to cruisers is OK, but as far as lifts and tires, I still want more than 10 mpg on the highway...
The more the better. The more unique the better also, but I need something most importantly to run well. I can pick up or have delivered.
I hope I'm not asking for too much.. Just a very reliable, possibly unique rig that will be made my DD with camping, hauling, and beach duty also. So it must be able to perform...
Looking for a good running HJ61 with an automatic. I prefer one (but not absolutely a necessity) with all the goodies: cable lockers, PTO, etc. Rust is OK as long as it drives well and will make it home.
