1.75" Dobinson's lift / steering feels vague

with Delta 3 Base it will be at 5.3 caster correction, OEM is 4, so it will be 1.3 over, is that too much to be concerned? I wouldn't mind the extra stability if the truck doesn't start bringing other things with extra +1.3 caster....
I think you said earlier that you are running 315’s or the equivalent of 35” tires. I have the same tires and 3.5” of lift with and I have the 4’s and am slightly over corrected and they are great. If I’m you I’m aiming for the top end of the range of correction. Either way the DVS arms are the bomb, period.

No issue for me with 315s before moving onto 4" lift....plus it gives you option to move up in size with DVS 3R.
I'd rather be on the higher end as well.

There’s nothing wrong with plates. They work well at a fraction of the cost.
Like others have said the @landtank plates are very good and I have be running them for years.

The arms are a good option but in the end castor is castor 😉

Just don’t use the castor bushings.

In closing this subject has been beat to death and there’s literally dozens of threads on it and all the information is readily available. 😎

Cheers

I recently purchased my 80 which had a 2.5 in iron man lift with caster correction plates and delta panhard bracket. Even with the plates, the truck wandered slightly at freeway speeds. Although I never had the caster measurements done on an alignment rack, I could tell the truck needed a little more caster based on my experience with Rovers with/without caster correction arms post suspension lift. I removed the caster correction plates and replaced them with delta 3inch caster correction arms last weekend. The truck no longer wanders at highway speeds due to the added caster.

Definitely get the delta panhard bracket after a lift and paired that with the whiteline rear swaybar and either the LCP HD mounting brackets or the Landtank's....call it done.

I'm not concerned, it would probability be a little easier to steer when your not moving with less castor but there are plenty of other trucks that have more from the factory.

Gazillion threads on the topic.

Delta and plates both resolve your issue. Price points are considerably different.

You want as much caster as you can get. Yoshi sets their axles up with far too little. I aim for no less than 3* on any front end. 35s+ I'm looking for 4*+.
