Took her out on another little trek! 800 Miles, exploring the Northwestern Corner of Colorado. She never missed a beat, and climbed up to Vail Tunnel, and Eisenhower tunnel pushing 60mph and 1,100F EGT's Pre-Turbo. Ate it up as always.

The Northern Colorado/Utah border is really underrated, sure there isn't a lot of technical stuff, but there's a ton of county dirt roads to explore, and excellent campgrounds/sites that aren't packed.

That's really pretty country up there. I like it once I get used to the fact that you guys don't have enough oxygen up there. 😆

I've spent over a month working in Cheyenne a couple of times and I come back feeling like a superhero.
Haha, it's an adjustment, every time I visit my mom and dad back in Georgia I feel like I'm breathing soup air...

Hello, congratulations on this fantastic project and the rich explanations all around. To be honest ever since I got this LX (May 2019) it was in my mind to convert it the same style like yours. Last week I have been to Northern Ireland to checked for an FTE/A442 with 180mls on the clock but in an almost dead corroded body. Planning to tow it to Germany in the upcoming weeks.
My plan is to swap the wiring harness as it is. Can you predict major obstacles by implementing the whole RHD harness into an LHD?
Cheers

Hey brother! Congratulations on starting the project. You'll love the FTE. I had my harness built by mickFTE. Shipping my old harness from the 1fz-fe, then he ships you back a plug and play kit.

With an auto, youll either need to retain the stock TCU or use compushift transmission management.

Theres other engine harness builders as well, but they are all in Australia.

Sorry I cant be more help!

Great help, thanks a lot. I really appreciate the community on this platform. Already got in touch with Mick FTE. Cheers, man

The ole girl helped pull a 67 mustang out of the backyard its been sitting in for 25 years today.

base model with the inline 6, automatic, already got her sputtering and trying to fire, replacing the fuel pump tomorrow and we'll see if we can go for a jaunt around the block
