This has been on Craigs for a while on and off. Started at 22K now at 16.5k.
Looks pretty clean.

He had already built a great rig with TJM front bumper and 10k lb winch, BumpIt Offroad rear swing out bumper and BumpIt step sliders w/ built in catalytic converter protection, 3" TJM lift. I bought a 1997 Lexus LX450 on May 4th, 2017 from a guy on CL. The car was listed for sale in Brooklyn and only had 1 previous owner for the first years of its life (in NJ) and the seller had the car since late last year. I got the car checked at Lexus of Bay Ridge in Brooklyn. They did a pre purchase inspection for $215 and told me that the car needed new brake rotors and pads. On that recommendation I bought the car for $3.5k with the expectation of doing the brake stuff. I drove the car from Brooklyn to a parking garage on 110th street...

I'm not sure how to write an effective advertisement so instead I'm just going to give you as much history on the rig as possible.
I purchased it about 4 years ago from a friend in Redding CA because he wanted to buy a pickup truck. At the time, it had a dented door and rocker panel on the passenger side. We replaced the door skin and cut out the damager rocker panel.
Then i towed it to Valley Hybrids in Stockton CA where it had all the fluids replaced, rewired the dual battery system, replaced both batteries (Optima Red and Yellow top), and balanced the rear driveshaft.
After the work in Stockton I drove it home to...

So I think I may be ready to part with my 80. I have been struggling with this for some time but I think at this stage in my life, with what I have going on I can do some other useful things with the money. Plan on moving across the country this summer. I bought my 94 a couple of years ago and have gone completely through it. I have receipts for most things and I will do my best to list them off. Truck runs and drives perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Everything works as it should and virtually every maintenance item you would want done has been done. THe oil pressure gauge intermittently doesn't work. It is something electrical by the air box when bumped. Been like that for two years. I use my truck as a daily driver...

We imported this truck last year through Land Cruisers Direct. We LOVE it. It has seen light trail runs in the Big Horns, Black Hills, and in Montana. Unfortunately, this is our only vehicle...and is not ideal for the twins we are now expecting. My wonderful wife, who fully supported the truck, would prefer something a little more....modern. ;-) ....with a little less diesel smell. I for one, love the smell.
