Posted earlier can't figure how to up grade old post. Bought a GX and have to sell my 80. Bought this truck last year in Tn. so only one year in Mi. Body and interior is excellent shape. 230K everything works (even the antenna). This has been my daily driver, and I mean daily. Would not worry about driving this anywhere. Yes it has some drips and leaks, needs valve cover gasket and when it was really cold out side lost some power steering fluid. But besides that its a great truck. There are some extra parts also. I had a friend rebuild front diff. with bad results so I used diff in and have had no problems. Original diff has new bearing kit but ring and pinion are shot. Gauging interest on my 97 LX450 that my wife wrecked a few months ago. The short of it is that my wife was taking our kids to school when it happened to be snowing and she lost control of the cruiser and hit a pole. Fortunately, everyone was okay except for the cruiser.
Prior to the accident, this was my wife's errand and drop kids off at school vehicle. It's currently got 266K miles and recently replaced the rear brakes. We're the second owner with the original owner sparing no cost on maintenance, with plenty of records and receipts.
As a result of the accident, the driver's side rear passenger door needs to be replaced. There needs to be some minor body work on the top (roof), and I was planning on replacing all 4 tires.

So I started building this for my dad and he decided he doesn't want it. Now I have 2 FZJ80s and a 1st gen 4runner. Too many trucks and not enough space. I'm in Placentia, CA (92870).

196k miles, motor runs strong.
Car has always been in southern california so no rust problems.
Brand new OME 2.5" lift less than 100 miles on it
5 BFG km2 mud terrains 35x12.5x17 on aftermarket 17" aluminum wheels. Probably 80% or more tread left.
Front and rear axles rebuilt with all toyota parts and new bearings. New brake rotors and pads on all corners
Both lockers working (I had to rebuild the rear actuator).
New battery
New drive belts
Radiator flushed
New engine oil and filter
New fluids in diffs and the t case

1 has 135k 1 has 210 k both in good shape a few small rust spots but no major or structural rot
low mileage one has lift , sliders , bumper, 33s. needs passenger headlight & wiring (bulb fell out and caught harness on fire and melted some stuff) color green. I believe it has every option there was 2nd is black High mileage machine all stock head gasket done appx 15k ago runs great .
Both machines need stuff ( interior work , paint , body,etc. ) aren't perfect but good platforms for a build or restoration Both leather ,locked , roofs, both look good but not great.

I have a 1997 40th Anniversary Edition Landcruiser for sale.
My father had bought this off the lot in 1997 and it has been in the family ever since.
Currently, it has around 253,000 miles with no problems, I still drive it daily.
The reason for the sale is because I can no longer afford to just sit on it. I have always wanted to build this rig up but as a college student looking for work, it simply has to go.
We had a complete rebuilt engine installed around 2008 or 09 at around 160,000 miles. During a move, we can not find service history and title. Runs strong and exhaust is quite loud, and sounds one of a kind.
This Toyota HAS the factory lockers.
Front driver seat is torn at the seam but the leather is in good condition.

Price: $19,000 If I don't sell before the other one does then I will keep this. I love this truck and the only reason I would sell is extra room for my now 2 dogs.
