Wanted Clean, Solid FJ60 or FJ62

Folks, I'm looking for a clean solid vehicle somewhere within a couple of states of Louisiana. I'd prefer a 60 but am willing to consider a 62. Red is my preferred color but will also consider silver or white. I have the means to buy one that is built or will buy stock and build it up myself. I plan to use it as a daily driver since my commute is about 7 minutes! I currently have a red FJ40 that gets babied. My daily driver is a HUGE F-250 that I'll be selling once I get the right 60/62 in place. I'd appreciate any leads.

The mechanics said that it runs great and is a beast. Transmission shifts great. Just had front brakes redone. A/C works great. Interior is in great condition; Dash is not cracked; Seats are not ripped except for small tear on side of drivers seat, but has not encroached onto the fabric from the vinyl. I'm selling my '83 Brown FJ60 (128k mi) The cosmetic issues are needs paint and body work, two pinholes of rust on lower passenger side rear window and the previous owner drilled holes in the roof for a custom roof rack. It also needs a headliner, carpet and rear cargo panels. The factory wiring is intact, aside from the aftermarket stereo install and where the D.U.I. Dist was hooked up. I daily drive it about 80 miles and it runs great. I've taken it on several 5hr+ trips and regularly drive it to Austin. There is no cancer, aside from the two pinholes near the back side window, and only minimal surface rust. The frame and suspension have no rot. SOLD _________ Having to sell my 1986 FJ60. She is in Little Rock, Arkansas. Was on my way to Texas when she blew a head gasket lost antifreeze and score a gouge in cylinder 3. She is a parts number matching vehicle, except the engine, which will now need replacing again. She has a total of 125,000 miles on vehicle matance has been kept on it since I pulled her out of a barn it had been sitting in for 7 years, and replaced the motor. Just wanted to try and get a sense of interest for offloading my cruiser should i decide to keep it on a salvaged title. The bad news: I recently rolled it in the snow and insurance wants to cash me out of my beloved ride. I have a lot of projects on hand and have to get rid of something. It's in really great shape west coast truck. I converted it to a 4spd 2f motor. Taken from a another fj. Runs and drives great. No rot or rust anywhere on this truck. Has 200 miles since completely rebuilding the motor. All work professionally done. I would like to break ties with this truck for 10k. Wanted FJ60 or Manual FJ62

Looking for a rust free rig that has a manual transmission. I have looked for years for the right vehicle to own and the FJ60/FJ62 is everything I will ever need. I have had my current vehicle for 20 years and it is beginning to rust and am looking for a replacement that I will keep for even longer. I have some particular needs and would pay more for the right set up. I would like three point retractable belts in the back for the little ones. Fuel injection is a plus but not necessary. H55F is another plus. I do not need a lot of creature comforts but a clean interior would be nice. I am looking to spend somewhere between 10K-15K. Just got turned on to Cruisers a month ago and have been considering getting an fj60 for a couple of weeks. Found this on Craigslist a few hours away: toyota land cruiser fj60 Any thoughts? Anybody know this rig? Future plans are to replace my wrangler with a 60 and have it as I daily driver and camping rig. Would add bumpers, roof rack, and potentially have a shop do a v8 conversion down the road.

It has about 230k miles on it and currently is not running(no fuel delivery, Fuel pump). I had planned to fix it up real nice but realized the rear subframe has a good amount of rust. So i came around looking for a donor frame and decided that I would just sell it and focus on other projects due to the lack of space to do a frame swap. I bought this truck in early February, with hopes of fixing the cosmetic issues and turning into a driver for me. Unfortunately, I got a layoff notice and need the cash more than the project now. The truck is a 1983 with the original 2F and 4speed manual. It has 176k. It starts and runs great. The steering could be tightened up with some new tie rod ends. The previous owner gave it some rock rash and left it needing a new carpet and headliner. The right front fender and door are rubbing. The mechanicals are solid, but the cosmetics need help. $3,000 is what I'm asking. Thanks.
