This FJ55 has some updates, along with a lot of stock items remaining. A 2” OME lift kit was installed, and most of the smog/old carburetor were pulled. Those parts are still in hand and will go with the vehicle (listed below). An old Warn winch was also removed, and will be included. I am the third owner of this vehicle. This has been garaged, and a semi-daily driver.

I’m on the hunt for a solid FJ55. I’ve always liked the Iron Pigs and would like to find one that’s ready to enjoy rather than a major project.
Ideally looking for:
• Clean, rust-free or properly repaired body
• Mostly original or well-done restoration
• Updated front disc brakes is a big plus
• Mechanically sorted with a healthy engine
• Stock or lightly upgraded drivetrain preferred
I’m open to driver-quality trucks or nicely restored examples. Documentation of work done is always appreciated.

1973 Landcruiser FJ-55. New tires, New Battery, New CV axles. I've had it for 10 years. 4 years ago I did a mechanical resto mod on it converting it to power steering, power brakes automatic on column. The chassis, V6 engine, tranny & frame have all been converted & are all from a 98 Chevy blazer that only had 80k miles. Rides super smooth & parts are readily available. Everything works, 4x4. Motor & tranny are super smooth & quiet, even the back glass goes up & down. Always garage kept since I've had it. The floor boards are solid as is the rest of the body. Only serious buyers & those who know the rarity of the FJ-55. Not looking to trade
1971 FJ55 Landcruiser w/ 5.3 chevy engine and toyota 4 speed manual. One of the more rare models of landcruiser. This is a project and currently does not run.
Engine and transmission are installed in the vehicle but the engine swap needs to be finished up. 90% of everything to complete the swap will be sold with the vehicle.
Comes with around 8-10k in new and used restoration/aftermarket parts.
Currently the vehicle has 37x12.50r17 bfg K02 tires with very low miles (less than a thousand) on some aluminum rims.
Suspension is a spring over with fox shocks on all four corners.
Vehicle does have rust, but comes with replacement panels to fix 95% of all the rust. Driver side floor pans, and rocker have been replaced already. Panels...
This is not mine but I have driven it and know the seller. It runs good and shifts good but definitely needs some love in the looks department but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Bend, Oregon native rig found its home in So Cal. Original owner driven since 1970 until 2020 when it was lifted and spirited with an H55 transmission. I drove it down the I-5 and through the Central California dunes to Long Beach, CA for the past few years. This classic needs a garage to keep up with its preservation. We have flushed the gas tank, and radiator, tuned it up with a new thermostat, new spark plugs & wires, installed a new battery, new radiator hoses and drum brakes with new wheel cylinders and brake shoes. It has been upgraded to a dual master cylinder for city life driving as well. Currently fitted with an electronic ignition distributor and Webber carb. Will let it go with a ‘71 Aisan carb rebuilt by OG Mark in Burbank...
1974 FJ55 project rig for sale. Complete, original Cruiser. Has some rust, not as bad as many I’ve seen. Not currently running. No title. I do have a rusty 1978 FJ55 shell with title and lots of good parts, to be included. Also have some misc spare 55 parts to be included.

Iron Pig with all the typical rust. It needs a good home. Linked pictures include a video of the engine Running. I'd like to get $3500 for it.
"F" engine. Had air conditioning (but the compressor is missing). The hubs engage freely and it shifts normally including the transfer case. No coolant leaks.
Most of the electrical worked. (Lights, turn signals, horn, rear window, etc.). Currently has a short in the taillights. The instrument cluster is intermittent. Rolls on 16" aftermarket rims. The original 15" rims are included with a spare tire. I also replaced the brake master cylinder and booster, clutch cylinder and the mechanical fuel pump.
I simply don't have time to make it right. Too many other commitments.

I bought it a few years back and then an HZJ73 basically fell in my lap so I've had 3 landcruisers ever since and really only have room/time for two.
Allegedly this thing had a restoration in the 90's but I can't confirm. It has some rust spots on the body but looks great from 10 feet. the frame appears to have zero cancer to me. I drove it 4 hours home when i bought it a few years back with no problems.
Not looking for any trades currently as I'm trying to make space in the garage.
