Runs and drives. New clutch, pressure plate etc. Runs, smokes bad. Needs carb or carb rebuild. Mostly stock 3 on the tree, nice little clean truck very little rust. The underside has been sandblasted and coated in some bullet proof black paint. 1974 D-break Frame has had the same treatment. You can start your project off with some clean RUST FREE gear here. $200 for the frame. Tires and RIMS NOT included This truck was an AZ forest service truck. FS sticker still on windshield. There is a hole on the d-side from where the xtra fuel tank filler neck was installed. A dent is in the same are.

Hi folks: I have $6500 and am looking for a rust free FJ40 in Studio City, CA (surburb of Los Angeles). Am willing to drive to northern California or Arizona to get a good truck. Well, the love affair didn't last too long for my old supervisor. To rub salt in the wound, he went back to a Jeep too. Oy vey! To be honest, I warned him these are not as comfy as a 2002 Wrangler with everything power. To each is his own, and even though he is sad about it, he wishes to sell his 76 Cruiser. WANTED: 1975 - 1983 FJ40 w/2F, 4sp, ambi doors

HI all, Looking for the following: Price range 5-9k - 1975 - 1983 FJ40 with 2F and 4speed. - should have hardtop with ambi doors (but can overlook that if clean). - body tub should be with minimal rust or minimal surface rust (dont mind doing some body work, just dont want to jump in heavy right away). - should run pretty good and most guages/lights should work. - owner must be willing to sell it and ship it (on me of course). - if it does not run, body and interior should be exceptionally clean. 1976 FJ40 for sale

Great site wish I had found it about 5 years ago. I have a 1976 FJ40 Toyota Landcruiser for sale. It has an inline 6 cyl. engine that was rebuilt, There is just over 5,000 miles on it. 4 speed transmission, and power steering. No A/C. It has a heater (works awesome). Hard top, w/ jump seats and ambulance doors. It can be used as a daily driver and I can take it to 75 mph w/ no problem. I have snow tires on it, I believe they are 30" or 31" not to sure. It also has a luggage rack on top of the roof w/ 8 lights on rack (2 per side). Color: Olive Drab green. w/ small U.S. flags on both side doors and rear door. I have a special soft top roof that snaps on OVER the hard top, with this soft top it looks like a Korean war era land...

1968 FJ40 F/SM420/3speed case mated with extreme bends adapter (all new gaskets, seals, parking brakes parts in the t-case) Warn Bellevue winch Stock axles The frame is solid, new suspension bushings, new body mounts, the tub is pretty rusty, perfectly fine for a wheeler, but it definitely is not something that will be restored. It needs a new gas tank/fuel cell, seats, steering column, and a rewire would be a good idea (stock wiring). It ran good when it was parked. I also have 2 3speeds, a spare 3speed tcase, and F motor to go with it. 1968 FJ40 Land Cruiser For Sale I purchased this from a relative of the first owner back in 2001. It was about as authentic as you could get, no rust, no smog, no lift, the original paper fuel filter in the bowl, OEM tires and innertubes, you name it. The last time it had been driven on a somewhat regular basis was in 1993. I was told it was driven in the mountains up around Big Bear and that was about it. The odometer had frozen, I had guessed from some old sticky grease. It had around 25K on the clock. It was a 100% SoCal Land Cruiser.
