So I'm getting close to the end of collecting parts for my build. I have the BenC front bumper and White Knuckle sliders ready to go on. I have the Japan 4x4 AHC shock spacers also ready to go in. I now have to decide which springs to use on my 03LX470 WITH AHC. I will be keeping the AHC system with the lift. I have the rear 40mm AHC shock spacers with the MAF 30mm coil spring spaces. I have the front 60mm AHC shock spacers. I will be adjusting the rear sensor to get me about 1.5-2" out back. My hope is that with the AHC spacers and spring spacers I should be able to take away any extra load on the AHC. Here is my dilema. I plan to run the BIOR rear bumper (no swingouts) out back. My thought is that the AHC coils wont be able to handle the load. The 33" spare will be mounted underneath. So I have a pair of used 80 series rear springs sitting in my garage and have access to some 100 series rear non AHC springs. With my application, Which springs should I use? There are 3 options: The factory AHC springs, the 80 series springs, and the yota 100 series NON AHC springs. Are the 80 series spring going to produce more or less than the 100 series non AHC springs? Are the 80 series springs stiffer or softer than the 100 series non AHC springs? Sorry for the multiple questions, but this build is going to start in the next week or two and I need to have this figured out before I start ripping stuff off.
