Quick question for anyone nearsighted. Do you have a hard time focusing in on the video for the rear view when driving? I had an experience with a rental car that had a video rear view camera that when I look at it it's a little blurry (blurry enough that I have to take off my glasses to get a clear rearview image).

I'm nearsighted and wear glasses 100% of the time. Sometimes I do have a hard time quickly looking at the mirror and focusing on it. However, this is during the day only and it has more to do with the reflection coming off the mirror than the video image itself or my eye distance to the mirror. During a cloudy day and/or at night I can focus on the video image perfectly fine just like it's regular glass rear view mirror.

I wouldn't go back to the regular mirror now. The digital mirror is one of the best mods I've done to my rig.

For the GX, I bought an accessory mount from Gamiviti, added some RAM mount balls, then mounted the Wolfbox on the dash. That lets me keep the original rear view mirror in the original position for quick (millisecond) looks while driving. Unfortunately the orientation has never been 100% spot on for the rear camera despite firmware upgrades and option changes.

The mess of cables could be tidied up. I get by with it.

You just need to squeeze one of the sides - I pulled some of the foam off the orange connector until I found the side that had the tab. I seem to remember there's also a screw holding the wire down.
Can't the orange tab be used for accessory power for the Wolfbox instead of using an add-a-fuse?

Yes, run the yellow and red from the wolfbox to the red lead in the oem mirror harness.
Just cut the lead from the oem mirror and attach to the wolfbox harness.
It seems that this arrangement would provide power to the mirror only when the ignition is on, which would negate the use of the mirror's Parking Mode. Correct if I'm wrong, please.

Wolfbox is now part of ‘MUD’s vendor forum and should be able to assist you through their thread.
