I am posting my brothers 1969 Toyota FJ40. This is a nice project. He has 90% of the parts to get it going. It just needs to be put together. It will come with Chevy 350 and Toyota tany and transfer case. He is asking for 3,500 o.b.o. Call Octavio at (323) 568-6835.
This truck is in great shape and would make a great wheeler for someone who is good with a wrench. Located in Jackson MS.
Based on what I have seen out there I am hoping to get about $5,000 for it or a good offer.

This is a 1974 fj 40 that I am selling for a friend. It has the original 2F motor and four on the floor transmission. It has a full cage that is welded to the frame. The truck runs good and has no mechanical issues. I just installed a brand new oil pan gasket and shot some new tan paint on it. Looking for an FJ40 that is in great running condition to be used for light off road (hunting lease) and driving around town a few times per week. ( a later year "driver" rather than a rock crawler. ) I am in Dallas so being close to me helps, but for the right truck I can use some airline miles or have it shipped. I am not in a hurry so I am going to be picky, but thought I would post up here in case someone wants to sell their prized FJ40 to move on to bigger and better things. :) Thanks guys!

I just bought this rig about 4 months ago, and I hate to let it go, but my wife is now pregnant with our first child. And didn’t think we were going to be able to, so now it is time to get rid of our toys.
I am still fairly new to Cruisers so I will try to describe what has been done to the best of my knowledge. I got it from a guy that bought it three years ago, and never drove it. (The alternator was never hooked up) So a majority of the work that was done was by the owner before him who worked at an off-road shop in the Denver area. This should be a daily driver capable of smooth highway sppeds, not a "crawler",... max 4.11 gears, preferably higher. I'm looking for that special truck that someone dropped a fortune into and a goodly part of their life to build the perfect cruiser. I've had a couple of FJ40s, know the vehicle and mods, and want to avoid another project - must be a finished truck.

I bought this truck almost two years ago. The po had restored the truck and it only had 5k on a rebuilt 2f motor and everything else had been gone through from what i was told.The po rolled the truck so i bought it for parts but decided to try and straighten it out enough to save another 40. The frame is straight and shows no signs of any damage
I replaced the radiator,exhaust (magna flow 2.5"),all brakes (front discs rear drum)have been gone through including a new booster,windshield,front fenders,hood and bib.It has an optima red top. i had to pull the dash forward and pound out some dents. I added a 6 point cage that bolts to the dash to add strength.It has an ome lift(w/add a leaf in the rear), 5- 33x10.5 bfg mud terrains...
This is a 1970 Toyota FJ40 with a newly rebuilt 2F motor (from a 1975 FJ40) and 3-spd transmission. The entire motor was gone through, replaced all bearings, rings, honed, valve job, complete OEM gasket kit, new clutch, throwout bearing, pressure plate, all new fluids, rebuilt carburetor, new battery... Everything was purchased new from Toyota. Also comes with a brand new stereo and speakers. The interior and underneath have all been ryno-lined. There is no roof or doors. Well, I do have bikini doors available.
Tires are all in great shape. Has some new Autometer gauges.
Runs great and looks great. No known rust. Garage kept. I just don't seem to find the time to drive it. When I do it gets a lot of attention.
