This FJ is has been in New Mexico and Colorado it's whole life, and has very little rust. The rust is below the rear doors. Only has 117,000 miles. Paint is in great shape was recently waxed and buffed.

My budget is between $5k-$13k. I am located in Columbia, SC, but willing to drive as far as TX (1000 miles) if it is worth it. I would like to find 1975 or newer with a 2F in it and use it as a daily driver.
I have been checking locally and on Ebay, but haven't found one that fits the bill just yet.

Stock FJ40 with all the lights, decals, etc. All switches, knobs and lights work. Runs fine with F1 motor ( a replacement). Desert FJ: minimal rust...perfect for restoration. I'm a little out of my league mechanically and financially,..heart probs and the bills are coming in. I love this truck and have worked to make it clean. Hardtop excellent, body good, new weatherstip to windshield, windshield louver, door windows. Bifold works fine. Roll Bar. 3 speed on column. Runs good in 4x4...took it into the Coast Range on easy road and both ranges worked fine. I'm needing @$6,000 obo.
I am selling my 1977 FJ40 to focus on other projects. Lots of rust. Does run and drive but would need to be towed/trailer-ed for any distance. Front suspension was modified by prevoious owner to allow for snowplow (amatuer job). Rear is SOA. Stock 2F. Top is in decent shape. Missing one rear jumpseat. Located in Everett, WA. Clear title.

I have a friend that is looking to sell his FJ40. It is a 1965 all original with just over 30,000 miles on it. The only modifications to it are the rear fender flares and the mirrors. It is always in the garage and is always maintained with great care. There is no rust on it at all. Overall, it is in excellent shape. The seats are original and in perfect condition. It has a three speed with the shifter on the floor and the transfer case shifter is on the dash. It is forest green and the paint is in great shape. It was originally ordered with the factory rippled hard top which has the accordion door in the rear. Most of the vehicles ordered this year were ordered with the soft top. I have searched around to find a comparable to it can't...

I am selling my 1970 FJ40. I have had the truck since 1998. I drove it daily for 3 years until an injury no longer allowed me to drive the truck in 2001. Once I went to college in 2002 I spent the next 5 summers cutting out the tub rust and welding in new metal, along with accumulating some good parts. I started the truck no problem a year ago, just by cleaning the distributor contacts off.
I decided to give up on the project last spring when I found out the frame had some rot behind the front wheels and I couldn't do the disk brake swap that i planned with out repairing the frame. It is trailerable.
So here is what the truck comes with:

Hate to do this but my rare 1982 FJ40 is up for sale. This truck is so original that the door buzzer and the seat belt lights still work. It still has the original Toyota gray mat.
