Excellent. I did the same with an 80 series Master & Booster… they are very predictable… but almost over boosted. 4 wheel discs that require next to no pressure on the pedal.I also installed a 60 series vacuum booster upside down. My brakes are awesome now. Time to adjust the parking brake now that the brakes are not constantly getting harder.
Ya, the 80 series have a bigger bore in the MC to provide enough juice to the disks. I did the same on my 60 series when I went with the 80 series full floater/ disks.Excellent. got a link? All good! I found an 80 series booster on amazon for $140 to the door. Hopefully its better than any old 40 year booster?
It’s for a bj6080 boosters really wake up a 40s brakes... The studs are longer, you'll need to flip it over, add a check valve, and ideally a spacer between the booster and firewall (but not entirely necessary .
